For the second time this week, the Amal thugs and the PSP thugs go at it in an all out brawl on the LAU campus. The Army and Police have taken control of the campus, and the students were sent to the Voile Bleu early this weekend. Yes LAU, so that meant a lot of ripped Armani shirts and smashed Rolexes, and that also means Pace e Luce will have to work overtime tonight to repair the damage.
Word is AUB campus followed suit and cancelled afternoon clashes. I mean classes.

hehe. seems you and i are in the same area at the same time. I teach filmmaking at LAU and by a bizzarre twist of luck happened to be off campus when this shit happened. I tried to get back to teach my one oclock class, but couldnt enter the uni. Now im hearing rumours that i cant leave the internet cafe im at! dammit. Crazy day. Crazy students. crazy city. And these 20 yr old morons probably have no clue what they are beating each other over. Arghhhh. How i yearn for a student demonstration, even a brawl, for freedom, better education, less exorbitant tuition, better equipment, or simply, to express an opinion that aids everyone here instead of bullshit fights cause some moron had too much red bull and was born with less than the minimum requirement of brain cells. so funny to see the pics on your blog half an hour after standing between the crowd wondering what the hell is happening around my office.
The future doesn't look bright for Lebanon...
hind, you should stop by and say hi some day.
they should move to jbeil campus ;)
I guess the LAU students sent their valley parking to fight for them.
Dude forget about amal and psp I can see my apartment in the second picture. very cool.
I always thought that a big part of Lebanese pride was fluency in three languages.
that was hilarious! :D
LA YA ALMA doesnt really MATER LA!!
hindo get back to class wele...if you were in there preparing like you should have been, you wouldnt have been locked out!
and this LAU posting was hilarious (Im not bitter)

yalla....rawa'uha shabab...ma badda...!
hmmmm so to cancel class let s have a clash
What eve said.
Bas ya 3ammi stop saying "Amal"! :D
I have had enough of the puns played with my name and "AMAL" the movement. It's like I was named to be a nice game for the human race. Even someone used to call me "ma7roumein" when I was a kid!
And the irony is that it's all Arafat's fault.
R.I.P
Hopefully the more studious student of AUB will not be swept away with this nonesense.
