Angry Olmert Day 13

While the world's attention is divided between the border skirmishes and the diplomatic empty talk, I want to remind you of the plight of hundreds of thousands of Lebanese people.

Over half a million people have been left homeless by Olmert's war crimes. A lucky few are getting to sleep on the floor in overcrowded apartments. The grand majority have lost their homes and all their belongings overnight, courtesy of precision weapons which happen to accidently cause mass destruction, to find themselves in schoolyards and rat infested parks.

Then there are those who are stranded in many isolated villages in the south. They are told by the Israeli armed assassins to leave their homes, even though there are no ways in or out. If they do leave, they are met by the most technologically advanced, but not always legal, weaponry. Off course those are designed to annihilate everything in or around their path.

The peace-loving democracy-spreading rulers of the free world don't seem to be too keen on the idea of a ceasefire. Probably because it will lead to that alien and barbaric concept of "peaceful negotiations and resolutions." That only means the humanitarian catastrophe Lebanon is facing is due to worsen. The destruction of all ports and roads won't help much.

What I'm trying to get to is that we all need to get off our asses and help. We're gonna need to provide help today, tomorrow, and for a long time in the foreseeable future.

It's strange how differently people can view things. I just saw a picture of a baby being delivered by surgical c-section, it had a big hole blown through it's back, is that what the Israelis mean by a "surgical air strike"? I see children in hospitals in Lebanon covered in phosphorus burns with their eyelids seared shut. I see blackened bodies that have not been burned with blood coagulated in the blood vessels. AM I BEING SPECIFIC ENOUGH FOR YOU FOXBAT?
Isn't it amazing that the United States sends fuel and rockets to one country so they can continue this centuries Holocaust, and then sends humanitarian aid to the country that is being destroyed?
Even in war there are limits. In my opinion, there is no excuse, no valid reason for what is happening in Lebanon. The words war crimes and the Geneva Convention come to mind.I am an American tax payer. Not only am I ashamed to be an American today, I am ashamed to be a human being.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING.

You seriously expect people to feel sorry for the Israelis because they have to go to BOMB SHELTERS, and your homes are being destroyed and the economy is suffering. While Lebanese children are being slaughtered by the hundreds, over 1 million people do not have food or water or blankets or shelter or medical care. Stop whining.

The whole world is watching.

I want to remind you of the plight of 1,000,000 of israelis that have fled south to avoid thousands of missiles that hez is raining down on israel

stated: Over half a million people have been left homeless by Olmert's war crimes.

over a million israelis are homeless because of lebanon's negligence

stated: The grand majority have lost their homes and all their belongings overnight, courtesy of precision weapons which happen to accidently cause mass destruction,

the actual damage to lebanon is but a fraction of the total number of people who have fled.

stated: to find themselves in schoolyards and rat infested parks.

why are there rats in your parks?

stated: Then there are those who are stranded in many isolated villages in the south.

actually hez forces have shot at people trying to leave...

stated: They are told by the Israeli armed assassins to leave their homes, even though there are no ways in or out. If they do leave, they are met by the most technologically advanced, but not always legal, weaponry. Off course those are designed to annihilate everything in or around their path.

so out of the 700,000 that have fled how many were killed in their cars? 20? does this make them assassins?

how about this question,

http://www.intelligence.org.il/eng/bu/hizbullah/pb/app5.htm

when hez blew up the jewish community center in argentina killing 85 men women and kids, does this make the shia's & hez & iran assassins as well? or do you reserve this for just israelis?

stated: The peace-loving democracy-spreading rulers of the free world don't seem to be too keen on the idea of a ceasefire.

how about a peace treaty? why a cease fire, are you wanting peace or are you seeking to help hez rearm?

stated: Probably because it will lead to that alien and barbaric concept of "peaceful negotiations and resolutions."

you did not ask for a PEACE TREATY, you are asking for a cease fire...

Stated: That only means the humanitarian catastrophe Lebanon is facing is due to worsen.

how so, 700,000 lebonese have USED those ROADS you say dont work...

Stated: The destruction of all ports and roads won't help much.

actually they seem to work just fine, iran with syria's help is having no trouble importing more arms to hezbolah and those same roads have helped move dead iranian solders back thru syria to iran. and transported hundreds of thousands out of the battle zones.

stated: What I'm trying to get to is that we all need to get off our asses and help. We're gonna need to provide help today, tomorrow, and for a long time in the foreseeable future.

here is a hint, return the kidnapped solders, move troops in and disarm hezbollah, throw out all syrian and iranian agents, embrace UN 1559, seek a peace treaty with israel and you might find one.

continue to support the shia nazis of hezbollah and reap what they sow, I am sure Hezbollah will fight til the very last lebanon child....

Julie, actually no, the world really doesn't give to shits for the jews, they have proven that by allowing racist islamic governments like palestine, arabia, jordan, lebanon, iraq, iran, egypt, and on and on and to equality of being purely anti-semetic. It is illegal to own land as a jew in most arab and islamic countries, Israel has 25% arabs as citizens whereas the arab world (with small exception) has zero. so no the world could care less about the jews.

at this time 450,000 lay dead in darfur, another 1.5 million are actually starving, all by moslem hands, any comments? as for the food and water or shelter or medical supplies, most of lebanon is not bombed, 90% has never had a shot fired at it. and yet you tell the story the Hez propaganda minister would tell you. If the people of lebanon driving in their brand new mercedes waving white flags are so poor how is it they have so many late modeled mercedes, volvos & lexuses? they spend their money on cars only?

Why do the Israelis keep harping about UN 1599, when they are in direct violation of at LEAST 50 UN resolutions themselves?
Why do they keep targeting ambulaces, you know, the white trucks with red crosses on them?
Why do they keep telling people to leave and then bomb civilian convoys?
Good questions huh?

Julie

And the whole world is watching.

Nope not lies. It is true that no one has died of thirst or starvation...yet. Let's make sure they don't!!!! Do my tax dollars go to help kill people in Darfur? Isn't there a civil war there?

Do you really think that the newly formed democratic govenment in Lebanon,(weakened by 18 years of civil war) could "take care of Hezbollah"? This is the best that Israel can do? With all of the support and money from the united states, this is your answer? Not good enough.

Nice job on the name calling though.

IDF warns civilians in specific villages in southern Lebanon to move northward

Sunday 23/07/2006 20:47

The IDF continues to operate in order to defend the citizens of Israel from the barrage of missiles fired by Hezbollah, which operates from within Lebanese villages, using the local population as human shields.

In order to avoid unintentional harm to civilians during the operations, the IDF has called upon the Lebanese population in the villages detailed below to vacate the area and move north of the Litani River today. People who ignore this warning are endangering themselves and their families.

The villages are: Tulla, Tallousse, A-Taybe, Markaba, A-Tzuana, El-Hiam and Meiss El-Jabal.

The aforementioned warning is still in effect for the following villages:

El Kutzer, Shakra, Bint Jbel, Ayanta, Aitarun, Balaida, Barashit, Beit Yahun, A-Tiri, Yaroun, Kounin, Kharsat a-Taleb, Hadatiya, Majed Al Salim, and Khirbet Sahlem.

This warning follows many previous warnings to the population in southern Lebanon, via leaflets, local officials and the Lebanese media, urging them to travel northward.

The IDF's operations are directed solely at the terrorists, and not against the civilian population.

The IDF will continue to use all means at its disposal in order to secure the citizens of Israel against the terror attacks originating from Lebanese territory, and to return the two abducted IDF soldiers, Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, to their homes safely.

wow, they are WARING the people... Quite the murderers....

I'm sorry it is still not good enough. How should they leave? Those without cars, should they walk. Do they dare to drive when civilian convoys are being targeted by bombs? What roads should they take, seriously, show me a road that has not been bombed. You cannot excuse collateral damage by saying you "warned" them, and you don't mean to hit civilians. The Shias in southern Lebanon may be poor, but that does not mean that they are throw away people.

and yet they travel the roads you also claim were bombed..

which is it? are the roads destroyed or not?

can you speak clearly or do you just keep changing the question to fit your pat answer...

are the road working and allowing 700,000 lebonese to travel?

what is the total number of travelers that have been bombed 20?

so 699,980 people have successfully traveled on the roads you say are destroyed...

Some of you have excellent posts which have given me much to think about. Let me be VERY clear. I think that Israel has reacted too strongly. Period. Having said that, I think war is bad for everyone, including the Israelis! They should not have rockets falling on them, and neither should the people of Lebanon. I am extremely disturbed by my governments response to this crisis. It is hard to talk about peace when the bombs continue to fall. I have family in Lebanon, we have not heard from them and we are very worried about them. Please try to understand that. I blame Hezbollah just as much as I blame the Israelis for this current crisis. When the bombs stop, every life loving human being has to work together to solve ALL of the problems in the ME, so this does not continue to happen over and over again.

Let's cutout the nonsense. This war is a US proxy war against Iran, that was planned way in advance. The next thing if we don't stop it is marching to Damascus and probably nuking Iran, thuis creating more and more suffering and anger. After that both Israel and the US will be seen for what they are (especial thanks to Great Leader Bush)

After that will be destablization of everywhere.

All the enemy can seem to do is lob inneffective rockets at Israel, while Lebanon has been flattened.

After that? Probably the end of this sad experiemt known as human life on the earth. Thanks Bush. thanks Olmert. And Hillary. And just about every short-sighted leader in the "free" (although less free by the second) world.

Stupid warmongers. (And don't blame Hezzballah, because they aren't able to destroy the world with nukes. And before you say it, neither is Iran.)

Hopeless. just pathetic sheeple in Israel and US. Please save us from ourselves, Europe. Where is evil Americans and Israelis? Look in the mirror.

By the way, the UN also said Israel is guilty of Internation crimes against humanity. What makes you different from terrorists. Oh, the supposed threat to your existence that the US keeps in place by doing nothing for peace in the region.
Blair broke with Bush, too. My country, and yours, are now officially rogue states. We have no friends left. The only reason someone doesn't do anything about it is because they are used to being kicked by the master in Washington

Day 14 coming around. Still nothing but humanitarian destruction. See you at the Hague if we survive.

Hmm. Let me see. About what 20+Israeli deaths vs. 400 or so confirmed Lebanese deaths. Hmm. Who is the victim? I wonder. And now we have reports of cluster bomobs, and white phosphorous bombs. Illegal.

Why don't freaks of the Mosaad set up your blog. Won't matter.

Day 14? I've lost count. John Bolton tells us that Israeli lives do count more than Lebanese lives. Why do you think the Christian Lebanese are against you now. America's influence is done there. I just heard the Iraqi militias are organizing to come to Lebanon. The Iraqi PM says your agression must stop. This is Bush's "new middle east" with "growing pains" but ti apparently has produced a still birth.

Yea, I'm in North America.

Zionism does seem to equal racism.

By the way, have you made any military accomplishments. I'm sure your proganda media tells you that, but the truth is there now is no military solution. Eventually, you will have to negotiate. Unless America insists that you continue on Then what?
Tick tock tick tock

Each second your pocition is wealened. Stop killing women and children in Lebanon. Tony Blair: "If you're going to go after hezzballah, go after hezzballah - I can't understand these attacks on the whole population." There you have it. It is BushOlmert against the entire world, and patience is running out. And the Lebanese are going to forgive and forget...neither will democratic Iraq apparently. How pathetic.

Ha Ha you have brain like pea. The ineptitude of the campaign is more astounding than the blunders in Iraq. Maybe, that is the point. Butchers. Stop killing children and blowing up there homes. I've got a name for your campaign: "The Israeli massacre of Lebanon."

j said...

I figured it out. You really believe Hezzballah is a threat. HA HA. What are they gonna do? Kartouche you to death? Paranoid? The Hezzballah are also a political party. That part ain't goign anywhere. The 4th most powerful military force! Against a ragtag militia? And you are afraid. "Lebanon has a right a right to defend itself." "George Bush don't like Lebanese people"

Hang in there Jamal.

Foxbat,

Lebanon has a national debt of over 40 billion US$ - how on earth does the Lebanese Army have a yearly spending power of over 20 billion US$....?
Methinks your numbers are somewhat skewed.
Get real. Half of them don't even have matching uniforms.

Foxbat,

Just checked your link - it also says we have 68 military aircraft. We actually have 0...veeery misleading info.
